The perfect short cone pencil sharpener for highly porous and powdery leads. The Black Widow allows you to produce a round and pointed tip by simply removing and inserting the innovative Tip Former system. When in place, it sharpens a short round point. When removed it sharpens to a short sharp point. It also assists in keeping the cutting blade clean. The Black Widow is ideal for pastel and/or soft colored pencils. Can also be use with cosmetic pencils. \n \nAll KUM sharpeners are equipped with blades manufactured with ultra-hard (65 hrc) and razor-sharp high carbon steel- harder than ball bearings, making them ideal for sharpening high-quality graphite. \nKUM blades are slightly curved rather than dead straight- this means the edges are under constant tension and not lifted by pressure during sharpening. This provides a consistent sharpen to the pencil and prevents the pencil tip from springing out or tearing, and prevents the screws from loosening.
