These superior painting cradled panels are constructed with a Baltic Birch Wood face and a smooth solid Poplar Wood cradle (frame around the back). A 3-laminate surface and solid cradled backing ensures no warping, flexing, stretching, and makes for easy hanging. A CLEAR acrylic gesso formulated exclusively for American Eagle provides a clear foundation with a fine tooth on both the face AND edges. Panel has a depth of 1-5/8".
